What an achievement!
Congratulations go to Lachlan Davidson, one of our scholarship students for HDFC. Lachlan has achieved his FIRST SOLO flight in a very short time period considering his huge work commitments at school and his travelling distance for each lesson from South West Rocks. True determination and dedication! Lachlan completed his first solo landing with the nose nice and high and the column right back.
Lachlan was in the air when a Dash 8 came in. Radio calls were exchanged when the Captain of Qantas asked "Is that your First Solo?" Lachlan proudly replied, "Yeah, how did I look?"
