Join us at our annual Palmers Island, Yamba event.
Palmers Island is situated on the banks of the Clarence River near the popular holiday destination of Yamba. Yamba was voted the Best Town in Australia by Australian Traveller Magazine (2009).
Note: This Getaway will proceed regardless of the weather.
Saturday 23rd March to Sunday 24th March 2024 with option to check in a day earlier on Friday 22nd March for a longer weekend.

Friday 22nd March 2024
There are several of us going to Palmers Island on a Friday, so this is a FREE and EASY day for you to check out Yamba, have coffee or go shopping. We can meet at 6pm and decide where to go for dinner.

Scenic flying from the pristine grass strip (especially for those driving. Instructors available)

Saturday Lunch

BBQ lunch at the field. $10 per person

Explore Yamba. Ladies especially love to shop.

Saturday Evening Dinner will be at either the Yamba Shores Tavern (courtesy bus) or the Bowling Club Bistro (walk).

Driving into McIntyres Airfield
Up to 3.5 hours drive to Lot 2 Northbank Road, Palmers Island, NSW.
Ground Transport
Several members are driving up and will have cars available. There are also two courtesy cars available for $30 each and returned fuel full.
