The first plane owned by HDFC in 1958

Despite its registration, this early 150 was first registered in June 1960 to the Hastings District Flying Club at Port Macquarie, NSW. It moved to WA in 1966 and went on to various WA owners Geoff Goodall's shot above was taken at Bunbury in January 1978. It is still registered.

This Airtourer was operated by the Hastings District Flying Club, Port Macquarie, when entered in the 1964 R.M.Ansett Air Race. It was flown by C.R. McGregor. Greg Banfield took the photo during the Bankstown overnight stop on 29 March 1964. Sometime after that it was re-registered VH-PJR and remains that way today, owned by Terry Green and still based at Port Macquarie, NSW.

This Airtourer was built as VH-MUI. Later in life it was converted into a model T3 which has the 130 h.p .engine. The spats were probably added at the same time. Geoff Goodall took the above image at Jandakot, WA in July 1975. Just over a year later (Sept 1976) it was written off in a crash 40 km south of Perth.

First registered in 1965 (ex N6043Q), as VH-ERA then it was reregistered -PMQ when sold to the Hastings District Flying Club Hastings District Flying Club at Port MacQuarie NSW (-PMQ being the airfield coding for that base).

This plane belongs to Needham Aviation. Many HDFC pilots train on this aeroplane with Bob Needham.
