What you can see and do on HDFC Open Day
The Hastings District Flying Club will open its club house and hangar doors to the public.
We will reveal our newly furbished hangar then.
Members will be showing off their aircraft on the tarmac and you can sign up for flights on our Sling2. People can wander around and view the different aircraft we have within the club, and they can also talk with the owner and, in some instances, the person who actually built it.
The clubhouse and hangar will house historical presentations, radio control models, plastic aircraft models and flying training information.
30-min discovery flights will be available on the day. You can purchase your flight vouchers now so you are guaranteed a flight on that day. otherwise purchase them when you're there on Open Day.

We're selling raffle tickets at $5 each. In fact, you can purchase them now from the HDFC clubhouse. Tickets are also available on sale during Open Day.
1st prize: $500 Flight Certificate
