AIRCRAFT PARKING
On either side of the GA taxiway. Ideally, each aircraft will be met by a flying club member. If not, make your way to the HDFC clubhouse after parking. The clubhouse is located at the end of the GA1 apron which is adjacent to the fuel bowsers.
SECURITY
Port Macquarie is a security airport. ASIC cards must be worn. Non-ASIC pilts will be accompanied by an HDFC ASIC holder who will be airside

TRANSPORT
If demand requires, a mini-bus will be arranged. If not, club members and taxis will be used.
CATERING
Morning/afternoon tea and a BBQ lunch will be available on both Saturday and Sunday.
A Welcome and Fly ‘n’ Spy Presentation Dinner will be held on Saturday night at the club house. Expected cost is $20. A licensed bar will operate.
FLY ‘N’ SPY
This is an optional event on Saturday. It’s a fun event involving a 1 hour flight in the Port Macquarie area, testing observation skills rather than navigation. Entry fee is $10 per aircraft. The prize pool is over $800. The flight can occur at any time during the day.
OPEN DAY – SUNDAY
Sunday is the Flying Club Open Day. The public are invited to inspect the club facilities and there will be displays depicting club life and other aviation activities.
ALTERNATE DATE
In the event of inclement weather, the Fly-In will be conducted over the weekend of 28th/28th March.
